My favorite watercolor thing from Etsy would have to be number 1 on this list, and number 2, and number 3, and well there are a few other things I love from Etsy, including one of my favorite watercolor paints.
Favorites!
COUNTDOWN
6. Stickers. These watercolor stickers were given to me by my Mom. They aren’t available anymore, so I ended up looking at all the watercolor stickers on Etsy. This sticker’s cute…I would get so lightheaded if I read upside down like that.
I wrote a post about stickering everything last month, so I’ll spare you the details here.
Someday I want to make my own stickers. Wouldn’t that be fun? I love putting a sticker on the front of my watercolor book—an object that makes me happy or a sticker that reminds me a place I’ve been. It inspires me and helps remind me what’s in that book…I have so many in progress at once!
5. Bijou Made In Italy. The Whiskey Painters brand took the FOME watercolor palettes that are handmade in Italy, imported it to the US, and branded it for themselves. This is going to last a lifetime.

The bijou without rails holds 8 full pans, or 12 half pans.
You can see the bijou without rails in the video I made moving paints into the Sennelier aqua mini; I moved them from the bijou into that.

The bijou with rails only holds 4 full pans no matter what you do because of the rails inside, so instead I put 12 half pans in it. The middle row just doesn’t have room for full pans; it’s not tall enough somehow. I tried.
I call the metal dividers that keep the pans in place rails because they limit the size of pans I can put in there. They’re really just folded metal pieces of the palette with a separate metal piece that goes on top to hold it in place.

4. The “goldilocks” size Whiskey Painters FOME palette. This paint tube version holds 11 full pans and 6 half pans (pictured below).

Mine’s completely empty inside (without the paint tube dividers) but they don’t have that one anymore, so I photographed Mom’s palette. That way you can see what fits in it.

We call it the goldilocks size palette because it’s the in-between size of a bijou and a larger palette.

3. ROSA! I may be excited about Rosa right now. I did an unboxing video of a new Rosa palette and then a curated palette video because, well I’ll let you watch the video. 😉
OmniaProArt is the seller I get Rosa from on Etsy.
Ok, I’m back. I got distracted looking at Etsy. That’s like trying to simply pin your blog post images to Pinterest…yep.
2. The Turquoise Tin from Rosa with Rosa Gallery Watercolors in it. Check out the unboxing video on Youtube. I literally got soo excited.
While none of these are exactly in any order…I did save the best for last (maybe tied with Rosa).
Number One
1. Vermillion Bijou FOME watercolor palette from Whiskey Painters.
It’s beautiful. Best gift ever. 🙂
I love to leave it on screen while filming, but sometimes think it’s distracting. It’s so…Vermillion. Orangey red, shiny, pretty, little cute travel palette. Except I would never travel with it; I’d worry about it.

The red brush handle is pointing to the palette.
If you’d like to get distracted on Etsy too, check out their gifts page. I’m gonna go look at stickers.
Megan 🙂
PS. The whiskey painters palette works with magnets if you have magnets on the back of your watercolor pans. That’s how I keep the pans in the palette without rails.
