Improving your space is something that I have been seeing everywhere recently. You know when you somehow end up seeing the same idea in many places, it may be time to do something about it.
And I’d love to say I sought out improving my space, the little things I interact with everyday. But I didn’t really. I did some online shopping and succeeded in my shopping trip but talking myself out of buying anything. I think that’s a success. After all, I didn’t need anything.
I first heard about this idea somewhere, then saw it in Peter McKinnon’s desk tour…the super minimalist one, and then a couple other things I can’t remember right now. All bringing me to realizing I need a little me added into what I work with everyday.
Stickers.
For travel I usually use three refillable water bottles in the van. That can be quite cumbersome. So instead, my mom offered me a water bottle that’s 24oz instead of 16oz. I have worked up to drinking 12oz at a time sometimes, instead of 8oz, and that means all 3 of those bottles having 4oz left. So at least for travel, I’m going to use this new one, and refill it with disposables in the car.

And I put stickers on it.
Then I put stickers on everything.
I discovered I have stickers.

My medicine container that used to be for travel Tylenol, but now I have one of my prescriptions in it…got a sticker.
I think Maurice Moves (also on YouTube) had a video on improving the things you interact with daily; and what’s something I use more than my medicine container?
This is all one sticker, and turned out really pretty.

The medicines then fit down in my little purse like a lip balm.

My new Van Gogh palette got a sticker.
Phone case. Sticker.

The clear backed sticker works really well for this one.
And finally, my power pack got a sticker. It’s dolphins in a circle, that looks like a charging or loading symbol. Cool.
And it’s blue watercolor dolphins.

Hopefully you will go out and get yourself something to decorate your space, or look for ways to improve the little things you do everyday, to bring joy into your life and give yourself pretty things to look at while you do the everyday stuff.
Even if it’s as simple as stickers you already have.
Megan 🙂
